Natalism

Natalism (also called pronatalism or the pro-birth position) is a belief that promotes the reproduction of sentient life. The term comes from the Latin adjective for “birth”, nātālis.

Antinatalism

Antinatalism (or anti-natalism) is a philosophical position that assigns a negative value to birth. Antinatalists argue that people should abstain from procreation because it is morally bad.
