WW1 Christmas Truce

Most didn’t want to fight and do those dreadful things, it’s incredible what “People” can make others do. there was a Christmas truce during World War I where British and German soldiers played football together in 1914. This spontaneous event, which occurred in various parts of the Western Front, involved soldiers leaving their trenches in No Man’s Land to exchange greetings, gifts, and even play games of football. While some accounts mention organized matches, many were informal kickabouts.
