  • is being dependent on the truth
    • a true friend is someone you can depend on
    • a faithful friend is someone you can depend on
    • you are not independent from the truth, being cut off from the true vine yields death
    • if your life depends on it, you place your hope in it. combined with belief you’ve got confidence in this hope
    • dependent is synonymous to hope which is actively waiting for the fulfillment what you have faith in
  • is submission to the truth
    • if your life depends on it, you orient yourself under it and submit to it
  • belief leads to hope and hope leads to submission
