Terminology
- knowledge is a proposition that must satisfy three conditions: justified-true-belief
- proposition - a statement or assertion that expresses a judgment or opinion
- belief - an acceptance that a statement is true or that something exists
- justification - is the reason that someone (properly) holds a belief
- true/truth
- first-order truth - being in accord with fact or reality
- second-order truth - fidelity to an original or standard
- cognition - the mental action/processes of acquiring knowledge/understanding through sense-experience and/or reason
