Knowledge Types
- descriptive - assertions/propositional
- procedural - specifies what to do and when
- contextual - when to use the knowledge
- temporal - dealing with time
- inferential - not explicitly stated in a knowledge base, but could be derived/inferred by applying inferential/reasoning
- inherited - inferred via inheritance reasoning mechanism
- acquired - knowledge that is gathered either automatically by a K acquisition system or by a K engineer. acquired K must be merged with existing KB
